Women are the beginning of mankind and all its wondrous creations. They were the vessels of people like Steve Jobs, Benjamin Franklin, Mother Teresa, and Elizabeth Cady Stanton. They are our first loves in this vast, dark world, our first comfortable home, and our first supporters.

They’ll help you grow to become the beautiful self you are today, they’ll watch you walk down the aisle on your wedding day, they’ll hold your child in their arms, crying sweet and happy tears. Our mothers witness our first breath of life all the way to our last dying breath. They leave an everlasting legacy in our lives and a mark of wisdom, joy, and courage in our souls.
Although they help us with our struggles, they go through their own struggles as well. The strains of pregnancy last long even after giving birth; it leaves behind stretch marks and extra weight from carrying the baby. They even have to endure excessive bleeding after the delivery. Often, these cause insecurities and make moms feel less than beautiful. It’s important to remember that these marks and imperfections are beautiful. They are like battle wounds, representing the strength that comes with surviving pregnancy and raising a child.

As the child grows, the mother starts to understand the different sides of her child/children. She knows when her child is lying, what the child truly needs, as well as the child’s growing interests. From this, she knows what kind of help we need the best, let it be some alone time, guidance, or even comfort.
We dedicate this entry to all women out there. Below, we have included a poem written by Raven.
Here’s a quick synopsis of the perspective Raven wrote it from (everyone has their own perspective, feel free to share your thoughts and view on the poem):
A mother has the most influence on her child, she supports and encourages her children to follow their dreams. She serves as a source of bravery, strength, love, inspiration, and so much more.

My Bravery
You’re my bravery and my strength
My hope and my length
You’re my permanent reminder
As fierce as a tiger
My stars in the dark
More beautiful than a lark
My everything and more
You're the one that I adore
Sweet, loving mother of mine
You make life so divine
We’ve also included a poster with visuals and sayings to pay our respects to every loving mother on this planet:
During this Mother's Day, make sure to thank your mom for all the sacrifices she has made for you to stand where you are at now.
