A killer leather jacket. A chic suit. A pair of sunglasses. It is amazing how an outfit can make us look and feel confident. To elaborate, dressing how we want to, taking risks with fashion, and holding our head up high helps us improve our self-confidence. Even though we are working at home, we can still dress as we want to and face the day with a positive attitude.

Even pretending to be confident can help us feel that way for real. When we pretend, it is close to acting, so we act the way a confident person would. We even have our costume (chosen outfit) to help us get into character. This practice is helpful because it allows us to step out of our insecurities and gain a whole new perspective.
In my experience, a coat paired with jeans and a shirt, gives me the unwavering confidence of a CEO. It makes me feel as though I can overcome any obstacle thrown at me and accomplish my goals. Overall, dressing in a way that makes me feel successful allows me to perceive things positively.

As described in the example, an outfit that makes us feel beautiful and comfortable positively influences us. It affects our attitudes, moods, and behavior. That's why it's important to dress as we want to despite the risk of facing criticism. Our perspective of ourselves is more impactful on our success and happiness than anyone else's.
The power of clothing doesn't stop there. When other people see our actions, it will inspire them to dress as themselves too. During this time, we can post pics on social media in the safety of our home. It will create a chain reaction of positivity and empowerment, moving from one person to another. As more and more people follow our footsteps, being confident in our skin can become normal for everyone.
After all, we're all trying to survive the unpredictable journey of life. What better way to do it than with some confidence? What outfit helps you get through your daily tasks during quarantine? You can look at our fashion preferences and comment on yours in the forum!
