Minutes feel like hours. Finally, the sweet sound you have been waiting for floods your ears, and your problems fade away as the music takes over. A soft, romantic song, energetic music, a melody fit for the season, music is an understanding hug. There seems to be a song for everything.

Music Affects Mood
Depending on your mood and situation, the right song can help you pull through the day. Sometimes, listening to happy music will excite you and make you feel better. It works even better if you dance along to the positive, bright words of the song.
Other times, a sad or relaxing song will help you express your emotions. These songs help because it’s as if the lyrics are telling you that your feelings are valid. These songs are very relatable and can give you some comfort.

Personal Experience
Music has pulled me through some stressful all-nighters and helped me reach my goals. No matter how much work I had, the music played steadily and kept me motivated. Even then, there were times when my eyes welled up with tears from stress, but then I remembered the musicians. The amazing artists who can reach the audience in a significant way.
So why does music have such a huge impact on us? It’s because there are many voices in the music world, and at least one has the right words to say. The artists who write these songs come from different backgrounds and have different perspectives. Their voices give us a comforting sense of security and understanding when all else fails.
