Relax & Rewind While the Storm Subsides

School life is sometimes as hectic as getting through a storm. It takes away a lot of time from your day and doesn’t leave space for personal time or breaks in between. There are certain ways you can take time to relax in the storm though, for example, study hall.

Purpose/Benefits

When you think of study hall, you would usually think of doing homework. However, you can also do activities you enjoy but never have time for. This includes drawing, reading books, and even just getting some quiet time to reflect on the day.

Another great way to dilute your stress is to catch up on sleep. School days tend to be long and tiring, so it is essential to regain your energy to pull through the rest of the day. At the same time, you are allowing your muscles to loosen up and have a stable breathing rate, which keeps you relaxed.

By relaxing, you’ll give your mind the rest it needs to work at its best. What does this mean? It means you will concentrate better with what you’re working on. Also, it makes it easier to come up with creative ideas as you won’t feel stressed out.
